Our Story

​My love for cooking started at a very young age in my grandmothers kitchen. She made the best homemade bread, fried chicken, and pierogies loaded with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut.  My favorite activity was punching down the bread dough and eventually, she would leave enough dough to turn into delicious cinnamon buns. As I progressed through middle and high school I found classes to help grow my passion for cooking. Unfortunately, as the saying goes, life gets in the way and college left little time to pursue any interest outside of studying and football. Upon graduation I entered my "career" job and did not think much about cooking. As time passed and my life began to change my passion for cooking returned. Fortunately, my wife Kearstin has been supportive and after years of saying I was going to start a catering business she supported my decision to build a "food trailer."  While we do catering the business has quickly evolved to include a food truck set up that has been a lot of fun.

Smoked Meats

Pulled Pork- Pork "butt" rubbed with our special pork rub. Roasted low and slow over a bed of charcoal and a mix of our favorite hardwoods. Served with a side of our own apple based BBQ sauce on a fresh kaiser bun.

Pit Beef- Pulled Beef Shoulder and or Brisket (pending availability and market price) rubbed with our special blend of spices mixed just for our beef. Roasted low and slow (up to 24 hours) over a bed of charcoal and a mix of our favorite hardwoods. Served with a side of our own apple based BBQ sauce on a fresh kaiser bun.

Baby Back Ribs- Tender ribs cooked on a pit of charcoal and mixed hardwoods and glazed with a hint of our BBQ sauce.

More Foods 

BBQ Chicken-chicken quarters, chicken halves, or individual pieces rubbed with our chicken seasoning and cooked on an open pit of charcoal and some "light" tasting hardwoods. Sprayed with our vinegar spray while cooking for flavor and to keep it nice and juicy.

Cheesesteak- It is not BBQ but we tried to replicate that true "Philly" flavor and it has quickly become a customer favorite at the food truck. Served on on a crusty, chewy bun with your choice of onions, peppers, american cheese, or whiz.

Sausage Sandwiches- we use sausage from a local butcher. Cooked on the same pit we use to cook the chicken. It gives it an awesome wood fire taste. Served on locally sourced buns with onions and peppers.
